The State of North Carolina has adopted a
Voluntary Enhanced Standards program for childcare centers. This
program is commonly known as the Rated License or Stars program.
The North Carolina Division of Child Development's licensing program
evaluates child care programs and assigns a rating on a scale
of 1 to 5 based on three scoring categories: Program Standards,
Education Standards, and Compliance Standards. For more information on the Star Rated License system, please
visit the North Carolina Division of Child Development website:
http://ncchildcare.dhhs.state.nc.us. We are
currently a 5 Star Rated Center, the highest rating a center can
receive.
Our program is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). Early childhood programs accredited by the NAEYC Academy for Early Childhood Program Accreditation have voluntarily undergone a comprehensive process of internal self-study and improvement. Each NAEYC-accredited program must meet all 10 of the NAEYC Early Childhood Program Standards.
